Hello, I'm dale

newborn & family Photographer

This moment right now...

You will never experience this exact moment again.

That’s where I come in, I'm here to help you hold onto it forever.

I create a friendly and relaxed environment, one where you can be your true, authentic selves. This allows me to capture the real emotions, the quiet moments, and the spontaneous laughter that make your story unique. These images will become priceless treasures for your family, cherished for generations to come.

My approach

I’m here to guide you every step of the way. With my experience and expertise, I ensure that you feel worry-free and fully prepared for your session.

I understand that not everyone loves being in front of the camera, especially children (and sometimes partners!). But don’t worry, I’ve got it covered! I’m skilled at making even the most camera-shy little ones feel comfortable, and I always take the time to make sure each child feels seen and valued. As a mum of three myself, I know how important it is for every family member to feel like an integral part of the experience.

Capturing your journey is a true privilege. To be part of your family’s story, from pregnancy to newborn, baby, and the many stages of growth that follow. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love, and I’m confident you’ll see my passion in every image.

Family is everything to me, which is why I’ve made sure to complete full paediatric first aid training and keep it up to date. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate and carry full insurance, offering you peace of mind throughout our time together. I’m always happy to provide proof of these qualifications upon request.

my story

I am Dale, I was born in New Zealand but raised in the UK!

I fell in love with photography at a young age, watching my dad capture the most stunning photos with his Canon camera (back in the days of 35mm film!). I’d spend hours on family holidays, fascinated by how he could freeze a moment in time so beautifully.

As I got older, my parents would buy my brother and me disposable cameras to take on our trips. I’d follow my dad around, eager to replicate the magic he created, although, as a kid, I often found it a little more challenging to get the same results!

Since becoming a mum myself, my love for photography has only deepened. I’ve truly fallen in love with capturing the journey of parenthood - the fleeting moments that make up the story of family life. When I’m not chasing after my own three kids or working with wonderful clients, you can usually find me diving into photography podcasts or dreaming up my next personal project.
